Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology
In the early 1970’s James Lorenzo Walker, a former legislator, strived to obtain funding to open a vocational school in Naples Florida. The Collier County Vocational Center first opened its doors August 28, 1974. The school acquired accreditation in December of 1978. In the summer of 1988, the school’s name was changed to honor Mr. Walker. In 2004, the Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology began offering a 750 hour Massage Therapy program. In August 2009 our new facilities will open which will include a Massage clinic with spa ambience that feature private rooms, and a wet treatment room.
